Prior to Soltre, the company's founders started an implementation and professional services firm exclusively dedicated to Oracle. Métier, Inc. (Métier) was established in 1995. In a short time, Métier developed an impressive customer list that included Accuride, California Institute of Technology, DirecTV, DreamWorks, Fremont Compensation, Pacificare, Princess Cruise lines, Sara Lee, and Sony Imaginary. In total, Métier completed over 75 successful implementations and was recognized as one of the strongest Oracle implementation firms in the West. The company built its practice to over 100 consultants, and in 1999 Métier was acquired.
With the technology world rapidly evolving, emerging concepts brought on significant changes and demands. Software prices were rapidly decreasing while implementation costs were not. Our founders, since departed from Métier, thought of creating an Oracle solution that would support this shift and allow for software implementation projects to be more congruent with declining software prices. Soltre Technology, Inc. was established in 2000 with this central idea in mind. Soltre developed a streamlined solution that would allow companies to choose Oracle due to a shorter implementation cycle and lower total cost of ownership - a stark contrast from the traditionally cost prohibitive nature of implementing and owning Oracle.
Soltre offers a complete solution at an affordable price that is pre-configured and pre-integrated - drastically reducing the customer's time-to-market. Our scalable end-to-end solutions include Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Business Intelligence Reporting, eCommerce, Customer Relationship Management (CRM), as well as best practices processes.
