Oracle Makes CRM Simple at Soltre Technology Oracle's Integrated E-Business Suite Enables Soltre to Quickly Transform Its CRM Processes REDWOOD SHORES, Calif. May 23, 2001 Oracle Corp., the largest provider of software for e-business, today announced that Soltre Technology, Inc., a rapidly growing application service provider (ASP), is using the OracleŽ E-Business Suite to track service requests, decrease implementation time for its customers and increase customer loyalty. By using the Oracle E-Business Suite, Soltre is winning the war on technological complexity by simplifying, standardizing and modernizing business practices for its customers, which are typically businesses with annual revenues ranging from $20 to $500 million. Soltre went live with Oracle iSupport, a key component of the Oracle E-Business Suite, in just one week and expects similarly fast deployment times for Oracle's other E-Business Suite modules. Without modifications to the Oracle E-Business Suite, Soltre is quickly transforming its Internet-based customer relationship management (CRM) business processes to serve a global customer base more efficiently and profitably. "We needed to be up and running as quickly as possible. That is why integration was our primary concern in selecting a CRM vendor. Proposals from other CRM vendors were going to take countless months and be very expensive. Oracle, however, already offered a complete, fully integrated CRM solution," said Vivian Chow, president and chief operating officer for Soltre. "All the time we've saved in implementing Oracle has allowed us to speed time-to-market and re-deploy our people for more effective partner development activities." Soltre gives companies a distinct competitive advantage by offering a complete systems infrastructure, Oracle's suite of integrated e-business applications, and world-class support. To ensure customer satisfaction, Soltre must provide a single point of contact and exceptional support for the full suite of applications and services its customers require to run their businesses. Oracle is enabling Soltre to improve customer service and loyalty in several ways. Oracle's iSupport and TeleService modules allow customers to use the web to customize their service-related information and pull from online service resources. As a result, Soltre can service its customers at their convenience. Using the Oracle E-Business Suite, Oracle, employees and customers can track customer service requests up to the minute from any location globally. This is critical, because the company's field support engineers are frequently away from their offices. Oracle allows them to dial in via the web to access the customer information they need in real-time. With Oracle Contracts, Soltre can give customers, employees and partners access to critical service contract information whenever and wherever they need it. Soltre can deliver more accurate information to customers, letting them know when their service agreement is about to expire. Because Contracts is fully integrated with Oracle's other E-Business Suite modules, salespeople know exactly when the agreement will expire and how much it will cost to renew the contract. Oracle also offers instant integration with back-end systems for accounting and other business processes, allowing Soltre to save time and money by eliminating redundant data entry. All customer information is automatically shared among all the Oracle software modules, so Soltre's financial operations, human resources, sales and support staff can access customer data. Over the coming months, Soltre also will implement additional Oracle E-Business Suite modules including Oracle iStore, Advanced Inbound, Advanced Outbound, Call Center Intelligence, Customer Intelligence, eMail Center, Incentive Compensation, iPayment, Mobile Sales, Sales Intelligence, Sales Online and Scripting. Oracle's fully integrated solution is enabling Soltre to sell to and service customers quickly and professionally, while simplifying the company's business processes and supporting continued rapid growth.
